Dr. Robert G. Castracane is a skilled dentist and a leading practitioner of implant dentistry. He serves patients at Advanced Implant & Cosmetic Dentistry in the Flatiron district of New York City, New York, and specializes in creating healthier, more beautiful smiles to give his patients the highest quality of life. He earned his bachelor's degree in mathematics and psychology from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia before pursuing his doctorate in medical dentistry from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Castracane then headed to Brooklyn, New York, to complete his general practice residency at the Kings County Medical Center. Dr. Castracane has served as an associate professor at the New York University College of Dentistry in Manhattan and then at the Seton Hall University School of Graduate Medical Education in Paterson, New Jersey, where he shared his passion for dentistry with the next generation of dental practitioners. While there, he further developed his skills as the program director of general practice residency at St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center before beginning private practice. Dr. Castracane is a graduate of the Misch International Implant Institute as well as the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in Pennsylvania. A strong believer in continual improvement, Dr. Castracane holds the highest credential in his field as a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry (ABOI/ID), a rigorous certification held by only about 600 dentists globally.
